Version:           0.9.0 SVN trunk (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

It would be very helpful to be able to see bit depth value (8/16 bit mode) in status bar, probably next to image size.

This information already exist in Color/Histogram sidebar...
