Description arne anka 2006-07-13 09:55:22 UTC
Version: 0.5.3 (using KDE 3.5.3, Debian Package 4:3.5.3-1 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15.2

after an update of gs-esp in debian/unstable kpdf is unable to print a pdf:
an error-popup says

No appropriate filter was found to convert the file format into application/postscript.
Go to System Options -> Commands to look through the list of possible filters. Each filter executes an external program.
See if the required external program is available.on your system.

but there's no such entry "System Options -> Commands". either it's removed or it's not in kpdf at all.
in either case this information needs correction.

kdeprint bug
Comment 2 Michael Goffioul 2006-07-13 10:46:54 UTC
The "System Options" button is (should be) located at the bottom of the print dialog.
Check also if any filter is set in the "Filters" tab of the printer properties dialog.
