Description wally 2006-07-10 03:56:37 UTC
Version: 1.4.1-SVN 560315 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Compiler: gcc 4.1.1
OS: Linux

When using a Dynamic Playlist which only pulls from a Smart Playlist, it is repopulating/adding tracks which are filtered out by the Smart Playlist.

I have a smart playlist with the following setup:

Match Any:
Rating is Not Rated
Rating is greater than 2.0

Match All:
Comment does not contain "Exclude"
Genre is not "Comedy"

However, I am finding in my Dynamic playlist that several of these exclusions are being ignored. I have found songs which are commented as "Exclude" in the list, as well as Genre of Comedy in the list.

I have verified that the tags are correct by doing an Edit Track Information, both examples were correct.

In fact, if I edit the Smart Playlist and select "Expand by Artist" or "Expand by Album", then go to one of the excluded items and do "Append to Playlist" it does NOT append; ie: the Smart Playlist itself seems to be working. I can append a non-filtered item as expected. So the Smart Playlist *seems* to be working. Just the Dynamic Playlist calling it does not somehow honor the Smart Playlist filters.

I have double-checked that the Dynamic Playlist ONLY has a Checkmark beside the Smart Playlist, NOT "Collection" or another playlist which might cause the behavior.

Again, same reason as bug #130542...
