Description Dylan Griffiths 2006-07-01 20:16:01 UTC
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When I select, "Open link in new tab" or click a link in Akregator, it delays creating the new tab until it has fetched the head of the HTML document. Sometimes, this can lead to lengthy delays between clicking the link, and there being a visible change in the interface (the new tab). I can only imagine how bad the behaviour must be on a slower connection than mine.

What I'm like to see is throbber of some kind indicating activity (web browsers have had these since the beginning for this reason), on a simple place holder tab that is created and populated with data as Akregator reads it off the network.
