Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux I am using konqueror to browse nfs share with nfs kioslave (nfs://server/directory). Server and client are both configured to use utf-8 encoding (LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8). The directory in question contains a file with a german umlaut in the filename, e.g. täst.txt. When remote directory is mounted using mount -t=nfs, everything works ok. But when the same folder is browsed through nfs:// kioslave, an error is displayed ("Die Datei oder der Ordner täst.txt existiert nicht.") and the content is not shown. Changing the encoding in konqueror through the menu ("Extras"->"Entfernte Zeichenkodierung wählen"->"utf8") did not change this behaviour.
I can confirm this one still exists in 3.5.4...
...also in 3.5.5...
