The documentation userguide_panel-and-desktop describes the old way of adding an applet to the kicker (with a submenu).
Now you open the one window to add applets! Please change it.

SVN commit 556615 by lueck:

fixed a lot of gui related errors
Close #130018, cause it is duplicate of 129876 and this was fixed with r555494 in trunk
