Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package OS: Linux System crash over 2 different Linux OS's (Fedora Core 3 and 4, CentOS 4.1 (sporadic crashes using Konqueror) and currently Suse 10 (logging out of session). I do not have enough knowledge about Linux as yet to provide more than the printouts I have available of bug Traces. I believe the problem (SIGSEV??) is due to a conflict between my system configuration and Konqueror but I can say no more than that. Fedora Core 5 witk KDE as nominated desktop crashed during install. I have a printout of crash backtrace to send to Fedora. I will email the backtrace printouts of the KDE crashes on Suse to an address at KDE if you require them. I can be contacted at rosco118@bigpond.com for any information that may help pinpoint this bug including all components of the system on which it is installed.
If you add the backtrace here, we can find out which component causes the crashes and file it appriopriately. Also, some more information in which circumstances the crash occurs and how to reproduce it would help. As you use 3.4.2, the bug might already be fixed in recent 3.5.x versions.
