Description Manuel Koch 2006-06-18 20:06:52 UTC
Version: 0.8.2-rc1 (using KDE 3.5.3, Debian Package 4:3.5.3-1 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.19-mko20060604

My pictures are located on a mounted VFAT directory.
I renamed an album by changing lowercase to uppercase "a3"->"A3" in the album-view.
Afterwards there are two albums in the album overview ( see attached picture ) which contain the same pictures.
When browsing to the related directory on the mounted drive there's only one
directory, the original lowercase one.
This problem seems to be related to the VFAT which is not able to distinguish the two directory names while renaming.

I can not confirm this for latest digiKam 0.9.5 or 0.10.
Is this still valid?
