Description Toshiro V 2006-06-15 13:59:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

The webcam (sensor SN9C103) is not recognized by kopete, even when linux detects it properly and loads the appropriate module (kernel 2.6.16).

I've even tried using the latest drivers available from http://www.linux-projects.org/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=2

Kopete SVN of today

I have a similar problem with my Philips WebCam and latest driver.

Configuring the devices works ONCE, after that kopete pretends to have a SECAM WEBCAM - which is not true - its PAL, but inly SECAM is available.

the first time SECAM is not displayed in the standard combo box (is empty).

after restarting kopete the web camera displays an image again in the configure dialog

Trust WB-3400T (sn9c102) is not recognized at all by Kopete but works fine with videoview.

Fixed in 3.5.x, currently porting it upstream.
