Description James 2006-06-14 16:06:07 UTC
Version: 0.11.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.0
OS: Linux

It would be good when we configure a new connection (IM Protocol or user detail) that we could set that particular protocol or service to automatically put all users into a particular folder/group. For example MSN Account 1 goes into folder/group 'personal' or whatever is specified at setup. That way we can have multiple accounts automatically assign a folder based on which account the user has been added from/to. Currently we have server side Jabber lists which are populated by the companies IT team, if we could assign those users into a group 'work' then it would make the overall usability much more clean.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
