Version: 3.5.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9) OS: Linux When comparing files with very long paths, Kompare shows an error message. After closing the dialog and re-opening the file selection window, the stored paths are sometimes truncated. Retrying with shorter paths (same files) fixes the problem. ---- Example Paths ---- /home/ssokolow/src/snakebyte/snakebyte/snakebyte/fserve/queuepool_old.py /home/ssokolow/src/snakebyte/snakebyte/snakebyte/fserve/queuepool.py ---- Example Message ---- No models or no differences, this file: /home/ssokolow/src/snakebyte/snakebyte/snakebyte/fserve/queuepool.py, is not a valid diff file.
Can someone with appropriate permissions change my "Accidental duplicate" bugs for this problem (#128968 through #128972) from RESOLVED WORKSFORME to RESOLVED DUPLICATE please? (They were the result of my interpretation of the saying "better safe than sorry" when confronted with repeated "500 Internal Server Error" messages)
It works on KDE 4 version.
