Description ord 2006-06-09 21:02:00 UTC
Version: 8 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Could it be usefull to make it possible to call an external script from menu/toolbar/shorcut ?
.
As of today I often use my own home-made editor to organise my picture for one simple reason: I made a button which resize the select images, rename them in a special way and copy them in a special directory. This is completely harcoded for me, useless for anybody else but very usefull..... If I could create a button in digikam which call my python script I would be really please. Maybe it is allready possible (but then it well hidden :-) )
.
Making it possible to call external script would also make it possible to take out of digikam many special things like create webpage, moving folders, or whatever does not belong to the main program and should not be in menus for everybody......
