Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux Many superkaramba widgets use transparency which works fine on desktops with a wallpaper. But on one of my virtual desktops I "only" have a color as a background and on that desktop the superkaramba widgets are not transparent but have a black border where normally the transparency is. http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=kdesktopsuperkarambanowallpape.jpg It's the same when using a color gradient and it doesn't matter which color/s and which superkaramba widgets I use.
Maybe this should also be reported to superkaramba maintainer?
Superkaramba themes keep their transparency when I don't use vertical or horizontal gradient or single color but somehting like pyramidal gradient.
I just discovered by accident there seems to be a workaround for people who don't want to use a wallpaper but superkaramba. Simply choose a non-existing wallpaper. Although it's the same as if you don't have a wallpaper the superkaramba widgets are now transparent. A kdesktop bug?
I'm closing this. It's the same as Bug 137134 and it is outdated with KDE4.
