This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: koffice: Depends: kformula but it is not going to be installed Depends: kword but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages RESULT=100 In case you handle this "Bug ?"; Thank you in advance. This appears to be a debian (?) packaging bug - please report it to them, because KDE doesn't do binary support (some hosting, but no packaging). We only do source releases. This is not a valid KOffice bug, although I agree it is a problem for you / your distro.
Well, the packages are correct and there are people using them (including me), so there must be something else wrong, feel free to mail your problem (with a bit more details if possible) to the debian-kde@lists.debian.org mailing list :) and you will get help.
