Description Kim Ylä-Tuuhonen 2006-06-07 20:18:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

My HP Photosmart 935 has a menu for HP Instant Share technology. There I can choose photos which will be printed or emailed automatically, when I connect the camera to computer. However, this only works with the official HP software in Windows. I wish digiKam would support this, too.

The actions are stored in a text file in the camera file system. The list of email receivers, which is shown in the Instant Share menu, is stored in XML file. Their email addresses aren't on this list, so they must be stored on computer along with their id on the XML list.

This functionality is provided by kipi-plugins:
SendImage and PrintWizard, right?
You can create a mailing list (distribution list) and sent the images to all receivers at once.

I will close this one.
