Description Christian Herhaus 2006-06-07 16:32:05 UTC
Version: Unbekannt (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.11-smp

Switching from Irix to Linux we notice that the simple usage of many X-server standard options like -bg, -fg, -font to modify the appearance of a new shell window have been replaced by --schema.

Because schemes require predefinition the X-server compliant options should be kept for reasons of ease and downward compatibility.
