Version: 0.12.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: gcc 4.1.0 OS: Linux Hello, the problem is that the file transfer with Kopete 0.12.0 (final) doesn't work at all with the Yahoo protocol, I mean that I can send files to someone, and he/she receive them, but when someone wants to send me a file, although I click "Accept" on the appearing window, after a sencond I get an error saying that "The person has canceled the action" I'm runnig SuSE Linux 10.1. I opened the port 80 and I tried sending a file with the firewall disabled but it doesn't work. Hope you'll find the problem. Good luck!
Which client does the other user use? Also it might be helpful if you could use a debug version and post the relevant debug output.
The other user is using Yahoo Messenger 7... Thanks for the tip, I will try a debug version and I will come back with details.

This problem has reappeared for some time now ... I'm using kopete 0.12.5 and having problems with sending/receiving files on yahoo protocol.
Kopete 0.12.6: on receiving I get the dialog box asking to receive the file, but the file name does not appear and the file size is always 0 => I cannot receive files.
BTW, related to 143639 as well.
Kopete trunk: receiving seems to work now, sending does not.
