Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux It would go a long way to add more supported players if MTP could be implemented. libMTP is a fairly robust library for this and there are other programs that use libMTP for transferring media, however native support in amaroK would be another feather in the cap of an awesome app.

Devices like the creative, newer iRivers (h10, and t series), samsung etc..use MTP to transmit files to the device. Currently there is a python CLI application called easyH10 (easyh10.sourceforge.net) for the iRiver applications and gnomad (http://gnomad2.sourceforge.net/) which support various devices but none of them integrate into a media player such as amarok, which makes it hard to get people using kde specifically (i think the gtk banschee application now has mtp support in cvs). Linux MTP support can be done via http://libmtp.sourceforge.net/ as far as I know.
