Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages It would be desired that Kopete would support the RTL flag in the message's X-MMS-IM-Format. This would greatly enhance support for Right-to-Left languages such as Hebrew and Arabic. I will implement the support for this feature; however, I'd like some feedback first about the right way to do it. There are basically two ways: Either I add a new property to the Kopete::Message, or I'll embed the Right-to-Left controls within the message as rich-text commands. The benefit of the later is that, once we'll implement Right-to-Left support in OSCAR (currently partial support exists but it's commented out), we'll need to support in-message controls anyway, as a single OSCAR message might have more than one paragraph, one being Right-to-left and another being Left-to-right. I'll start implementing this feature as soon as I'll have a "mentor" of some sort. It should be noted I was previously responsible for implementing RTL support in the SIM client, whose rtf.ll file you've leveraged into Kopete.
As of today, messages sent to MSN people contain the correct direction. It's set on the header of the message. I would like to kopete honor this flag and display the text as requested by the other side.
cuco, as you notice, I agree with this fact and willing to implement the feature as soon as I get some developer feedback. Apparently there are no Kopete developers ready to assist me with this.

Hi there, sorry for the bad news, but WLM has been discontinued by Microsoft, so this bug will be closed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
