Version: 0.11.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Debian Package 4:3.5.2-2+b1 (testing/unstable)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16-1-k7 I have kicker autohide feature on. When the kicker is hidden(in the down side of desktop), the bubble that start a new discution is partialy hidden(seems that it points the System Tray icon of Kopete that is now shown). Solution: check if kicker is hidden
Confirming with Kopete 0.12 SVN from yesterday and KDE 3.5.2 from Debian Sid.
Created attachment 16323 [details] Screenshot showing the bug
I advise not to change the bubble into something like amarok's OSD (along with a similar ability to configure the position) : a small window with only an accept/continue button button( and a standard close button that can be clicked with mouse or Esc key). This window should be above all and on all desktops, possibly with a transparency fade in/out. Extensions: - it should show the number of mesages received since the starting one - when more contacts send start of conversation messages, this notification should tile
errata: I advice TO change the bubble .... maybe someone can edit my mesage and remove this message and the "not" after 'advise' pin revious msg
The panel doesn't hide (yet) in kde4, so this bug is kde3 only for the moment.
Please update to newer version as we don't have manpower to support Kopete in KDE 3
