Description Caio Begotti 2006-05-22 02:28:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

The libcrashesplugin.so provides a easy way to recover opened sites after a Konqueror's crash by parsing konqueror-crash-${RANDOM}.log in the KDE user's temp dir but it's not that useful without a way to save that list and merge it back in another computer; restoring it all.

It could be done by some script that modify the logs (which can be done easily and Konqueror accepts the realtime changes) and could also accept a "name" for the saved log sites as well.

If an external script can be called by this plugin part, please let us know; it would be awesome :-)

Adding Alexander since he's the last maintainer for libcrashesplugin.

I don't quite understand what's being asked for, but from what I do understand, my question is: Why?

As I see it, the only shortcoming is that Konqueror doesn't cache and restore POST-generated pages the way the Firefox crash recovery tools do.
