Description Alastair Mailer 2006-05-20 18:32:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

After emerging konqueror-3.5.2 and acroread with the nsplugin useflag viewing a pdf embedded in konqueror causes the nsplugin to launch correctly, but only 100x100 pixels of the plugin are displayed in the top left hand corner of the window. For full details see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133297

Same here with Debian Sarge, konqueror 3.5.0-3bpo1 from sarge-backports, acroread 7.0.8-0.0 from debian-multimedia.org.

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS and all related Java/plugin infrastructure) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
