Description Lasse Collin 2006-05-19 09:59:10 UTC
Version: 2.2.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: GCC 3.4.6
OS: Linux

Autodrop should work like in Klondike. Currently Yukon has similar autodrop than Grandfather.

Example: Red threes should not be moved to the foundation before both black twos are in the foundation.

A debian user also describes this a little more intensive in debian #37640 (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127644)

And it just spoiled my game as well ;)

Quoted below:
The autodrop feature of kpat game Yukon moves cards to
the foundations as soon as possible. This can lead for
example to a situation where there's an ace of spades
face down, a 2 of spades on top of it face up, and both
red 3's already on the foundations. It is not then
possible to win the game, because the 2 of spades can't
be moved anywhere to reveal the ace.

The correct way for the autodrop would be moving red
3's to the foundations only if both black aces are
already there (so that there is always a place where
to put any black 2).

this will work just fine in KDE4 - and yukon got an amazingly high chance to win

This is broken again in version 3.6
