Description Arend van Beelen jr. 2006-05-14 17:25:53 UTC
Version: 1.4-beta3 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

When I right-click the currently playing track in Amarok 1.4-beta3, I get an option "Repeat Track". When I turn on Repeat Track this way, and then turn it off again, Amarok does not restore the previous repeat mode.

Example:
Currently a playlist is being played with the repeat mode set to Repeat Playlist. If you turn on Repeat Track on the currently playing track and turn if off again, the repeat mode is set to Don't Repeat rather than Repeat Playlist.

This issue is still present, but it's arguable if it should work as the reporter suggested.

Adding my 2 c - I came across this issue too (version 1.4.3), and IMO it would be a "nice to have" if you could toggle repeat of one track (temporarily), to hear a certain song a few times, and then untoggle it, and have the player remember and return to the overall selected repeat mode.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug for Amarok. Amarok 1.4 is now unmaintained and will no longer see any improvements. Because of this, and the massive amount of changes Amarok has undergone throughout the 2.x series of releases, we are closing bugs that no longer apply to the 2.x series due to changes in functionality, the underlying architecture, or a conflict for the vision of Amarok 2.

We appreciate the time you took to provide feedback about Amarok 1.4 and will look forward to any feedback you may provided about Amarok 2. Thanks.
