Description Duncan Hill 2006-05-13 11:08:14 UTC

Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

At the moment, showFoto offers basic navigation and tagging options when you right-click an image. It would (to me) useful if this menu was easily customisable, so that I could choose the options that I want.

A dialog similar to the one used to customise the toolbars would probably work well for this purpose. Defaulted items are on the right, and available options (possible broken down by category?) are on the left. Add and remove items, and presto, a right-click tuned to your usage patterns. (I'd like auto-correct as an item on mine for instance.) Include a 'reset to defaults' button, and life is good.

I like this idea. As far as I understand this correctly, you would be able to place your favorite imageplugins in the context menu.

This is hard-coded for now, but we could realize it in the way we setup kipiplugins in digiKam. This means have a tab in the setup dialog where you can set your favorite plugins to appear in the context menu.
