Version:            KPilot 4.5.4 (dreumes) (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

When I conect my new Palm Livedrive, the device is recongize by the OS, but when I try to sync doesn't work, The log message is:

20:34:06 No se puede leer la información del sistema desde el Pilot (Can't read system information.)

I can sync with JPilot but not work with Kontact

Hm. Have you tried with KPilot from KDE 3.5.10?
