Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Make switching between different views easier. It is very useful to change between different views in short time, e.g. to compare groups, blocks and families (don't know if this are the right english terms ;). So, as the toolbar is quite empty, make nice icons for the different views (this would be the hard part, I think), an put them into the toolbar by default. This views should imho be includes: all, except gradients (to much of them). This would make for 6 buttons. Maybe a 7th, with a submenu for the gradients, could be included. One click and two mouse-movements less to switch the views.
The only issue I see is a theoretical: What if we have 20 views or so in the future? But as that will probably never happen: I like that idea.
Fixed in KDE 4.0. We now found a nice solution. Feedback is welcome but I think we addressed this issue.
