Description highelf 2006-05-03 18:30:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

In svn (02 May 2006) the flat view won't remember/save the settings of custom columns after a switch to tree view. Here the way to test it:
1 make a search in tree view
2 got to flat view
3 right click on any columns in the flat view browser, add any columns (like rating)
4 sort by rating for example (just for fun)
5 click on the tree view button
6 click on the flat view button
7 wonder where the rating column is gone.

I hope I'm not the only one missing this feature :)

I can confirm this in version 1.4.0.

It doesn't occur just in flat view, but whenever one quits AmaroK as well.

e.g.:
1- do a collection search
2- add a new column (like rating)
3- quit AmaroK nicely
4- restart AmaroK

Suggestion: rename this bug to "collection browser forgets custom column settings"

still reproducible in svn revision 563279

Please reopen; this is not fixed as of 1.4.2.

I can't reproduce it.
