Description Blindauer Emmanuel 2006-04-28 09:09:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

when I check, in "configuration" -> "display option" "display size of mail" (don't have the english entry exactly), there is no field "size in the list of emails., but a RMB click on the columns, the "size" entry is checked. If I uncheck it and recheck it, the column "size" does appear.
Comment 1 Blindauer Emmanuel 2006-07-19 11:45:07 UTC
still valid.
More way to reproduce it:
it the size is already present: go in the menu, ->configuration" -> "display option" -> "display size of mail" unckeck, apply
you can see that the column is still present, but there is no value present.
RMB on the column, and remove "size". check "display size of mail" and apply, the field isn't displayed, but RMB show a checked column

I can confirm this (KDE-3.5.5). I think the extra setting in the configure dialog shall be removed, as you have the possibility to select the column in the right-mouse popup in the column headers.

It looks like the setting in the configure dialog triggers
the calculation of the size and the RMB menu on the column headers
triggers the display of that size. Running KDE 3.5.9 here.

bug no more present with 4.2
