Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

OS:                Linux

When logged into yahoo via kopete and set to Online, my yahoo profile shows me as offline. I've gone into yahoo profiles and unchecked the "Check the box to hide my online status (online) from other users" but that has made no difference. Is this a bug or am I overlooking some setting in kopete?

Also, I'm using kopete 0.12 Beta 2 compiled from sources.

There's no support for Yahoo profiles in Kopete at the moment, so it's normal that your profile shows you as offline.

Allen i think you have overlooked something in your kopete settings as 
my yahoo shows me on line.goto settings goto configure plugins a dialog 
box will open with a list with some boxes in front you will see one 
called connection status make sure there is a tick in the box
