Description Christoph Wiesen 2006-04-17 17:51:37 UTC
Version: 3.5.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu5 dapper)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-20-386

This is very similar to the (fixed) bug 85925 that describes the same for normal paths.

When any folder below system:/home is browsed inside Konqueror the window title will have the full name instead of just the current folder name.

For example: If your're Browsing the folder "system:/home/folder" the Konqueror window title will say "system:/home/folder.
If you browse the same folder with a normal (non-system:/) path like /home/user/folder the window title will just say "folder".

Since the window title is used in the taskbar and on the tab-names inside Konqueror it's easier to find the task that's named "folder" than the task named "system:/home/folder". With a deeper hierarchy of folders you could not identify the folder below system:/home... at all anymore since the taskbar just has not enough room. See bug 85925 for more explanations.

3.5.5
Can't see any good reason for this discrepancy.
