Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: SuSE RPMs The Redirect message function (Message->Forward->Redirect) always uses the default identity. Please allow the user to select the identity used so that the appropriate name and e-mail address appear in the Resent-From header.
KDE bugs day: confirmed, marking as wishlist
According to https://launchpad.net/kdepim/+bug/46106/ this isn't just a wishlist, but there's another problem involved where you CAN change the identity but it doesn't work.
Feature still missing as of KDE 4.2.2.
As of KMail Version 1.12.4 using KDE 4.3.5, the use of Identity is definitely inadequately implemented and downright misleading.
