Version: 0.11.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Slackware Packages Compiler: gcc 3.4.6 OS: Linux When I try to connect me the icon moves and to three seconds it leaves me out of line. I have tried to put a new user and still this way it does not connect me. The failure me has arisen just after upgrading kde 3.5.1 to 3.5.2
it's possible it's a server problem. Perhaps it's started working over the last few days? Also, would it be possible for you to try the 0.12 beta release? I'm not able to reproduce your bug here.
Have you the debug output ?
I cannot extract the debug output because there is no window of failure, simply one does not connect me.
Start kopete from a console as such: kopete > kopete_output The debug output will end up in the file kopete_output, which you can attach to thus bug report or just cut and paste the relevant section of.
Ok, the output file is: kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Header read failed, errno=104 kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Header has invalid size (-1)
Hi I have verified that yes it connects me using openssl 0.9.7g, the failure gives me to use the last version of openssl, that is to say, 0.9.8a. Regards
Now the Error in KDE 3.5.3 is: WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so: undefined symbol: PKCS7_content_free kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so: undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so: undefined symbol: OPENSSL_add_all_algorithms kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so: undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms_conf kioslave: ####### CRASH ###### protocol = https pid = 26416 signal = 11 kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Could not write data kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Could not write data kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Could not write data kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Could not write data Regards
This is a packaging problem, there seems to be a binary incompatibility with your version of openSSL.
