Description Kevin Knerr 2006-03-30 20:01:26 UTC
Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc-4.0
OS: Linux

Numerical temperature values aren't completely visible because the scrollbox is too narrow for the "9,999.0" format used.

To reproduce:
Manually enter 999 deg K in the widget. Start scrolling upward. At this point the text is already cramped within the space. Continue scrolling through 1,000.9. As you scroll, the leading 1 is partially cut off. Use the slider widget to increase the temperature further. At larger values, the thousands of degrees is no longer visible at all without "editing" the value directly.

Since the actual selected temperature is not visible anywhere else, this represents a significant usability bug.

For some reason, my platform was not recorded correctly. I am using Ubuntu Dapper Drake (Testing) and the package is 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu1

This has been fixed by updating to Qt 4.2... Cannot be fixed for KDE 3.x, sorry.
