Description Eric M. Smith 2006-03-29 22:29:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

FC5 w/ KDE 3.5.1
No Xinerama
Dual-Head Display 1 = Built-in 1280x800 Notebook Screen
Dual-Head Display 2 = External 1280x1024 Monitor

Control Center correctly positions kicker to the top of screen on Display 1; however, when doing the same thing to display 2, the panel remains at the bottom of the screen. This appears to be a design issue (following logic of some previous dual-head bug reports) where either :

a) the kicker on desktop 2 is not receiving the proper dcop commands to reset its position.

or

b) the kicker for desktop 2 needs a separate configuration file or section.

Logging out and logging in following the position setting in Control Center has no effect.
