Description Alexander Breitenbach 2006-03-29 14:36:22 UTC
Version: 1.8.2 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.8-default

The email client hung/crashed after I clicked on the ignore button for ignoring the auto confirmation on a senders request. I could close the window but I could not restart the client. It timed out. I had to log out as user and after log in I could continue without problems.

Is the problem reproducible?
Comment 2 Alexander Breitenbach 2006-03-30 11:24:53 UTC
Hi Philip, thanks for the response.

Yes it is reproducible. I tryed it again and found something interesting:

After klicking on ignore button the mouse pointer changed to the round icon
"blocked". When I move the pointer above one of the local folders on the left
side explorer window the pointer shows that I have something to paste.
Clicking on one of the folders I can paste a copy or the cut off on the
folder.
I do not know if that is the behaviour that kmail should do.

Best regards,

Alexander

Can you paste the backtrace?
Comment 4 Alexander Breitenbach 2006-04-04 10:24:06 UTC
Yes I can paste it to one of the local folders.

Today I send a reply instead of ignoring it. It happend the same. I copied the
backtrace to the bin-folder. The pasted message appears regularly in
bin-folder. I can open it.
I have set sending an outo reply on incoming messages. I will try to cancel
that seting to see if it still show that phenomenum.
