I should add that kmail does not crash if I view this email in text mode.
tested with kmail 4.0.3 and it works ok. i received a couple of mails from them, viewed them as html, they render ok, moved arround, then deleted. no crash.
Closing as it seems like this cannot be reproduced. If you are able to reproduce this again, please reopen the bug. Thanks for reporting this, it looks like thedevelopers managed to fix your issue in 4.0.3 and above.
