Description Dorin Scutarasu 2006-03-26 22:21:04 UTC
Version: 3.5 (using KDE 3.5.1, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-gentoo-r1lgt1

I'll just give an example:
I right click on the calendar, select new event, check 'Time associated', set Start and End time, for example 12:00 and 14:00 same day. After I click OK, the green box representing the event should strech between 12:00 and 14:00 , instead it streches from 12:00 to 24:00.
When dragging the event it has the right size, but when I drop it, it stretches to again to 24:00.

I've tried recompileing (emerge -av kontact kdepim-kresources libkcal libksieve libkdepim korganizer kcontrol) but that didn't help.

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.

We have had some reports from gentoo users about this behavior. Unfortunately,
it seems that this happens only on Gentoo, and only with some compiler
settings... I have never been able to reproduce the problem.

Cheers,
Reinhold

i have gentoo too, svn packages, r872xxx. is the bug still there? if yes, please give emerge --info. otherwise we will close it.

Works fine in KDE4 trunk and in my KDE-4.1.3 gentoo installation.

If it still happens to you in KDE4/gentoo then reopen and attach emerge --info

Thanks.
