Can you provide some more details: what protocol are you using? Does the crash occur for any protocol, or just one? Does it occur for any group, or just the one you mentioned?
Ya sure. I was using MSN and AIM in kopete. However, I am just sending the message to a group on my aim list. It doesn't have to be that group, it can be any group. The wierd thing is, is that the message gets sent, but very soon after it causes Kopete to crash (Maybe too many returns to the message at once)? I just killed my suse setup to try and install slackware, but I'm going back to suse after this weekend. I can then get you the version of Kopete I am using. I'm also sending the message by right clicking on the group, and clicking send message to group. Let me know what else you need as this is my first bug report :)

() I moved one meta contact to a new group and tried that, seems to have worked, tried the previous group again and it seems to have worked now. I tried it with offline contacts not shown and shown, still works. Ok, I moved the meta contact that is all my jabber accounts meta'd together back to the group I test before and it crashed again, backtrace was the same as above.
I forgot to mention this is kopete 0.12 from svn as of 2 days ago.

I have not been able to reproduce it too. Isn't this bug related to the "mail window" crash we encountered before ? I don't remember when it was fixed.
