Version: 0.10.3 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0) Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.13-15.8-default In Kopete-settings-styles, I have selected 'gaim' style with following colors: basic text color: #006400 (green) background color: #000000 (black) I use kopete for irc, jabber and groupwise in irc and jabber, all works without any problem, but in groupwise I receive messages in black textcolor, thus I'm unable to see them (tested: sender kopete with default settings).
Does it works if you go in options appaerence , colors and check "don't show custom user color" or something like that.
Just tested it, it doesn't help. The chatwindow override does not change the text colour to green. Not a GWIM bug then?
welcome to the wonderful world of RTF, which if no color is given defaults to black, IIRC.
But the override takes place after the RTF to HTML conversion so the source rich text format doesn't matter - eyes off, this bug looks like Kopete's colour override is broken.

Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
