Description Steven Tuoto 2006-03-09 10:26:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I have installed the camera three times after the third time the camera was finalley recoginized for what it was . After slecting the camera and the coresponding file in which to load to the program shows the following indication."Failed to list files in /"and therefore I cannot retrive my photos. This proceedure takes place with each attempt to down load. After the third time I was able to, through Konquer access the photos as media/usb disk .
Thanks for any help on this problem.

camera type is detected by libgphoto2 using camera firmware. I have also an Olympus camera C3000Z detected like a C2000Z. In fact, from a report of libgphoto2 developpers, the camera firmware is the same between this camera type, and the camera id is not updated by maker !

To set manually a C3000Z camera in digiKam setup, there is no problem to download pictures.
