Version: 1.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux Whenever I try to save the current font selection within konsole as default or for any session, it is stored correctly in the .kde/share/config/konsolerc file under "defaultfont=..." but seems not to be used. Instead after every KDE restart, I am set back to the global default fixed width font. I have read somewhere, this is supposed to be a feature, I rather sort it under "bugs, annyoing ones". Can someone confirm that it is impossible to set konsole fonts permantently to anything different than the global KDE fixed width font? To reproduce: 1) open konsole 2) chose a different font/font size even 3) save settings as default 4) end KDE session 5) start new KDE session 6) open konsole -- voila. Set back to global default. Expected behaviour: 6a) konsole shows same font as was saved under 3) Cheers Jens
I can't reproduce. IF Konsole is running when you exit KDE, the settings for Konsole are in $KDEHOME/share/config/session/konsole* % grep -i font $KDEHOME/share/config/session/konsole* % grep -i font $KDEHOME/share/config/konsolerc % grep -i fixed $KDEHOME/share/config/kdeglobals You might try updating KDE, but I don't recall any font issues.
Works for me... in KDE 3.5.3 anyway.
