Description Claus Wilke 2006-03-03 21:55:36 UTC
Version: 3.5.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.1-0ubuntu0breezy1 )
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-10-386

Since upgrading from KDE 3.5.0 to 3.5.1, the autocompletion list in the search field in konqueror seems to come with preset terms. Even if I clear the search history, all I need to do is enter a single letter, and I get a long list of terms that I have never used and am not interested in. I consider this behavior a bug, because (a) there is no clear way of switching it off, and (b) it is contrary to how autocompletion works in the rest of KDE.

This is kubuntu specific. It is actually a feature called google suggest

If you still think it is a bug, then you should report it ubuntu launchpad bug site.
