Description S. Burmeister 2006-03-01 20:47:56 UTC
Version: 0.12 svn (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I have two soundcards, i.e. one of them is a USB-headset. It would be very helpful, if I could tell kopete which audio-device to use for what functionality.

Gnomemeeting shows "logitech Headset", I am not sure how it knows the name. Skype just gives the choice of /dev/dsp0 or dsp1.

Kopete should be able to detect a newly plugged-in device without having to restart. Currently kmix has that issue and it is very annoying.

Maybe one could even "import" the volume-sliders from kmix.

Ringing should be send to the default soundcard. Although, there might be people who want to set that setting too.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
