It would be usefull if you could view a website as a local folder containing the images it contains and/or (switchable maybe) the sites, images or files it links to.
This could be handy when downloading stuff so you could select them and copy them to a local folder, or when viewing a gallery of thumbnails to be able to choose (for example) the slide show feature.

Double filed as 122865.  Also note that "appfs" does this in the demo app, but it's really not appropriate for konqueror default.  Maybe as a plugin...
