Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
Compiler:          gcc 4.0.2 20050901 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux) 
OS:                Linux

I enabled konversation notifications and started to get  knotify  crashing although I dont recall at what stage,,,next day when I started konvesration I  got the knotify crash soon after having started konvesation.

Given the functions at the top of the stack, it's trying to find a symbol that isn't there. This is a build or package error, not a KDE bug. It's probably not even in the KDE/Konversation packages, but ALSA.
