Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux The little white arrows in the little green balls in the default crystalsvg kmail toolbar icons for send mail, fetch mail and reply are very hard to distinguish on bigger display resolutions like 1280x1024 and above. I know I can change the icons but I would love to see more distinguishable icons on default. Look at these icons, they are very fine and match the crystalsvg style, it is only a minor change but makes a huge difference: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=23797

This is rather hopeless. No one will let pple change the "stable" 3.5.x icon set drastically. And the "new" Oxygen theme is the same crap all over again - colored circles with tiny white dots in the middle. http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/artwork/Oxygen/theme/svg/actions/mail_forward.svg?rev=588682&view=log http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/artwork/Oxygen/theme/svg/actions/mail_get.svg?rev=588682&view=log http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/artwork/Oxygen/theme/svg/actions/mail_reply.svg?rev=588682&view=log http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/artwork/Oxygen/theme/svg/actions/mail_send.svg?rev=588682&view=log I dueled with some of the team members about the lack of thought in some designs, but, as always, their ego prevailed. I would suggest to look seriously at Tango set. The drawing quality is primitive compared to Oxygen and Crystal, but the composition, arrangement and thought that went into each icon is vastly superior. http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Icon_Gallery (scroll down to mail-* entries.)
The icons in the final 4.0 release are quite different to those given as websvn links: "mail-reply" and "mail-forward" still have colored circles but in different colors and on different sides of the mail, "mail-receive" has a large arrow without any circles or stuff, and "mail-send" doesn't have any arrows at all ;) It might just be that you like these icons better than the former ones, assuming this I take the freedom to close this bug as FIXED.
