Description Andreas Pietzowski 2006-02-19 17:19:08 UTC
Version: 0.11.1 (using KDE 3.5.1 Level "a" , SUSE 10.0 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.7-default

Hello,

I wanted to set a custom photo for one of my contacts which is not connected to someone in my addressbook. Setting the image is no problem but when I want to start a chat with this buddy or want to open up the context menu for this contact then kopete ends up in using 100% cpu.

Thanks for fixing this. Anyway kopete kicks ass!
Andreas

where are you opening the context menu? if you disable all the loaded plugins such as history, etc. does this go away?
Comment 2 Andreas Pietzowski 2006-02-26 22:18:17 UTC
Yes, when I disable the history, then it seems to work without 100% cpu and I can chat as usual. Other plugins doesn't influence the behavior.

can you try the 0.12 prerelease and see if this goes away?
Comment 4 Olivier Goffart 2006-03-10 23:00:40 UTC
which are the loaded protocols ?
Can you try to determine which protocol may do that ?

console output may be usefull also.
