I use multiple backgrounds that change every 5 minutes. konsole doesn't reflect those changes in transparent mode and keeps displaying the old background.

As a temporary fix I've found that if you resize the konsole
windows which you have open (and then you can resize them back to
their original size) then they update the new transparent backgrounds
as they are updated using the multiple background mode.
