Version: 0.18 #3016 (using KDE 3.5.1, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.5 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.14.6 I'm completing the translation of Konversation into Dutch. These entries in konversation.po confuse me (especially the first one). If they are intended to be this way, some explanation would suffice. #: src/channel.cpp:1077 msgid "You have left channel %1%2." #: src/channel.cpp:1073 msgid "You have left this server%1." #: src/channel.cpp:1089 msgid "%1 has left this channel%2."
These are badly written. What happens is that the last argument is filled either by " (Reason)" or "", depending on availability. We're going to either deuglify these or at least provide a meaningful translation hint.
Cleaned up the messages a bit and added some hints, hopefuly useful ones :) Closing the bug now, but please reopen if you think it's not clear enough and thanks for the report.
